Commentary

Cases have plateaued in Allegheny County and rose very slightly in the state, as did hospitalizations. ICU use has continued to drop a bit (it lags cases even more). Cases in NY, NJ, VA have been slowly rising, likely presaging a BA.5 driven slow rise in PA over the coming two weeks.

Vaccinations

Allegheny County daily vaccines move to 223 1st+2nd doses, 209 booster doses/day (5 day lagged 7 day avg) (Due to lag, not likely to see <5 vax here yet)

Fully vaccinated %s:

Allegheny County: 69.3%, 51.7% of those are boosted, 17.2% of boosted got 4th dose.

Hospitalizations

PA counties with full ICU beds due to covid: None

PA-wide hospital census: Using 16645 med/surg beds, 39 more than last week, 22 less than 2 weeks ago.
