Discussion

Last week was affected by Memorial Day; today's data may still be slightly low b/c of it, but last week was more affected by it; trend over three weeks: 623 -> 471 -> 412 cases/day; state: 4304 -> 346 -> 3116.

"True" cases are definitely down from last week, and likely down from two weeks ago, though perhaps not by quite as much as it appears. Overall it's probably safe to say cases peaked two weeks ago. This is backed up by hospitalizations barely starting to go down over the last few days (they lag cases by a week or two).

Vaccinations

Allegheny County daily vaccines drop to 284 1st+2nd doses, 261 booster doses/day (5 day lagged 7 day avg)

Fully vaccinated %s:

Allegheny County: 69%, 51.2% of those are boosted, 14.6% of boosted got 4th dose.

Hospitalizations

PA counties with full ICU beds due to covid:
Clearfield (1 +covid patient in ICU)
Schuylkill (2)

PA-wide hospital census: Using 16974 med/surg beds, 126 more than last week, 77 less than 2 weeks ago.
